It was my own experience of the transformational effect of counselling that led me to train. As an ABC (Adults Bereaved as Children) I have worked with therapists at different stages of my life to help process my grief, work with the trauma of the events and the longer effects they have on my life. I was given the space to just be me, to share my fears, explore my expectations of myself and to reach a place of acceptance. This is what I aim to offer you.
I enjoy being in nature, I find it energises and grounds me and I feel a deep sense of peace when I notice the details of the world around me. I practice meditation and mindfulness in my daily life and find it really beneficial.
